Join in on the fun for a workshop in October, with professional artist Gayle Weisfield. Gayle will introduce you to an innovative style of wet-n-wet watercolor painting, You will spend two or three full days, working with other artists exploring the beauty of Cannon Beach in transparent watercolor. Gayle’s energetic and informative style in watercolor technique will inspire you, as you learn a fresh new approach to watercolor painting.
Retreats includes:
4 nights lodging, tips and tax
2 Lunches and 4 breakfasts
Tuition 4 days plus use of a Boga Board

Take TOLOVANA EXIT

Turn right towards beach second house on right.

When to arrive
Arrive Thursday anytime after 3:00 there will be an informal “Meet and Greet Party”. starting at 7:45.

Supply list
I will have some supplies available for purchase.
A variety of different papers,
tube pigments,
some brushes,
a paper stretchers,
almost everything you will need, to have a fun weekend of painting.
You should bring all your standard painting supplies - whatever you already have in your paint box.
- Do not purchase watercolor pads, for outside sketching
- A blotter, this is a roll of toilet paper rolled inside a think layer of paper towel
- A pallet, any large white plate is fine, but a large plastic pallet with a lid is best
- A fine spray bottle, for water
- Roll of paper towels
- Pallet knife if you have one
- Pencil and soft eraser
- Sketch book
- 2 large water tubs
- Camera
